The process is very simple to have an ad, poster, or mailer done. First you send or e-mail me the materials for the ad. Once I have received everything I will work up a concept for you. Then I'll e-mail that idea to you, and we just go back and forth from there until the ad is exactly what you want. After everything is done, I take care of getting the ad or product to were ever it needs to be (magazine or printers). Also, after we are done, I'll mail you a CD with the design on it, and a photo print of the design.Average price for a one page color or black and white ad.....$235-250
Price depending on number of pictures in ad and time it takes to come up with the perfect ad for you.Other projects will be price quoted depending on job.
Requirements for materials to be used in the design.....
It is your choice whether you would like to mail me or e-mail me all photos and write ups. If you choose to e-mail, then each photo must be its original size, preferably 8x10, and no less than 300 Resolution/dpi.
No photos pulled off the Internet will be accepted.
I suggest to all my clients to keep a scrapbook of any ideas you run across that you like, whether it be in a fashion, home and garden, Arab Times, biker, or other miniature horse magazines. Then when the time comes along for your ad, you have ideas to work off of.
But, the best piece of advice I can give is to keep it simple. Where would Nike or McDonald's be if they tried to put every shoe they make or every food item on the menu on their one-page ad? People would be overwhelmed and would go somewhere else. Catch my drift? Take one good idea and run with that!
Deadlines....
Most of my clients work with The Journal or The Miniature Horse World, but I am more than willing to work with whatever magazine you would like. Just make sure I have plenty of time to give you the product you deserve.
The deadlines are pretty simple for both magazines mentioned above. The 15th of February is the deadline for the April issue, April 15th for the June issue, June 15th for the August issue and so on. If you would like me to design something, please have all materials to me by the 1st of that month. I'm willing to work with everyone on this, but I am limited to how many ads I can take on. The earlier you get me the stuff, the better chance you have a getting a space reserved. Simple as this--first come, first served!
If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for your time!
